In December of 2009, The Golden Carrot was visited by Debra Sievers, a local very talented artist and animal enthusiast. Debra has been instrumental in bringing many volunteers to TGC, and in spreading the word about our mission, and created these two 'sketches' for TGC. The first is her sketch of volunteer Sierra grooming Joyful, and the second is a herd scene.
If you would be interested in purchasing either of these sketches, all proceeds donated by Debra Sievers to TGC, please let me know. In addition, Debra is willing to consider requests to sketch the horses on commission. I'm also pressuring her to get some of her current work up on the web - she normally sells in galleries, but I think the world would enjoy her work!
