  • You can donate generally, or you can specify a horse to benefit from your donation.  Sponsorship is a committment - you want your money to help a certain horse, and you commit - perhaps for six months, a year or maybe for the life of that horse. Sponsors are a huge boon to me, in that I can depend on that money; it's one less horse I must worry about!  If you want to sponsor a horse, there are many ways to do this.

First, below is a list of horses who are either unsponsored, or who are only partially sponsored.

    Male Horses Unsponsored:
Buck, Black, 24+ years old, Tennessee Walking Horse
Duke, Dark Brown, very elderly, Quarterhorse
Mr. "Happy" Grump, age unknown, elderly, black with white markings, possibly Appendix Quarter
          Navigator, Black, elderly, Thoroughbred

    Female Horses Unsponsored:
Joyful, Chestnut mare, 18 years old, Thoroughbred
Surely, chestnut mare, approx 16, Quarterhorse
Star, bay mare, approximately 6-8 years old, OTTB
Song, bay pony mare, Welara, 23 years old
          Peanut, Appaloosa mare, approximately 25
Shawnee, bay OTTB mare, approximately 25
Debbie, chestnut mare, quarterhorse, approximately mid-20s

    Male Horses Partially Sponsored:
          Falcon, dark brown Morgan, mid-20s
Bruhad, bay Polish-bred Arabian, early 20s
          Rocky, bay OTTB, age 16
Swing's Lew, gray OTTB, age 18
          Prophet, Chestnut Arabian, late 20s
          Hershey, Black QH, age 23
          Shine, Chestnut OTTB, approximately 12

    Female Horses Partially Sponsored:
Sara, bay TB/Belgian Draft cross mare, late teens
          Topper, chestnut Quarterhorse mare, mid-20s
Mary, Bay mare (TB? QH?), age mid-20s
