Horses looking for homes

This is ET. This 18 year old Arabian mare is looking for a home with her friend, Queimada (right).

Their owner writes:

The older one, Queimada, is a Spanish Arabian imported mare, she is blind in one eye.
The other one, ET, is from SW Dawid Daughter (Dawid & Khemosabi)  and our Spanish Stallion *Ommar (long-deceased - he died in my arms).

12 years ago, my mother suffered a stroke and we liquidated the 22 horses she had at that time.  I took the stallion and the Spanish mare and she took her Khemosabi daughter and ET (the mare mentioned above).  When her beloved Khemosabi daughter died, I brought the Spanish mare over to keep ET company.  They have been there for many years now, enjoying their lives.  At one time ET was broken to ride, but she was only ridden a short time and then kept as a pet.

On the 30th of June, my mother passed away after a sudden and unexpected hospitalization.  These 2 mares are still at their place and my elderly father, who can not care for these animals on a long term basis, has asked me to try to locate a place where they could remain loved until the remainder of their natural lives.

This is Queimada, a 28 year old Arabian mare.

We can probably provide transport for these mares who live in Bonsall CA. Let me know if you can provide a forever home for these ladies....

I have a 16 yr. bay saddlebred/tb mare named Isabelle I rescued about two years ago from a older woman who left her in a field and did not feed her. I have cared for her for the past two years, and she has been an great companion. Unfortunately, I am moving to Tennessee for my husbands job and will not be able to take her with me. I am trying to place her with a loving home where she can enjoy the rest of her life. I am willing to sponsor her each month. She is completely sound, and has excellent hooves that have never had to be trimmed. She does have to always wear a fly mask becuase sometime in her life she had an injury to her eye lids and they do not close all the way. The fly mask protects her eyes so that dust and dirt do get in them. She has a very very sweet and loving personality and will stand for hours to be brushed and loved on. She is very smart and is always the first to greet me when I come to feed. She is not broke to my knowledge. Please let me know if the organization would be able help out. I am moving in two weeks and need to place her before then. As I said I would be more than happy to sponsor her. I am located near Temecula.  Ashleigh Adamson [aa_adamson@yahoo.com]
This is Mina, a 24 year old Arabian mare.  She's sound and strong as Arabians can be, but must have a home where her age is considered.  Please contact me about seeing her.
